Updated Iowa Plan Behavioral Health Amendment
The Iowa Plan Behavioral Health Amendment issued from Magellan by U.S. Mail on January 19, 2012 replaces the current amendment to your Magellan Behavioral Health* Provider Participation Agreement. As described in the cover letter , Section 2.4.2 of the Amendment was updated to include the following language: "In the event of an overpayment to Facility by Magellan or Payor, Magellan and/or Payor shall have the right to offset such overpayment against payments owed to Facility by Magellan or Payor, as the case may be."
